Lab Link

An initiative to map our collective capability for test and reliability

Are you working on your next project and need access to equipment or capabilitity to support the product development or your bid work ?

WHAT IS LABLINK AND HOW CAN IT HELP ?

Many of our member companies have a need for specialist equipment and facilities. Often required at short notice and to allow engineers a space to work flexibly during product development. This often requires use of large corporate test facilities that provide a comprehensive and essential service for formal testing, but due to the nature of their buisness can not be very flexible and also are normally not in the local area.

Our members already have local equipment that is often under utilised, and those members wish to contribute to the cluster by enabling use of the equipment and facilities by other members.

Lab Link creates the opportunity to connect members and facilitate use of this equipment, this accelerates product development or supports effective winning bid work.

COLLABORATION & GROWTH

With flexible access to Equipment;  Lab Link provides the link between the member company working on the product development and the company with the test equipment/ facility or resource. This link and sharing of knowledge enables collaborative projects.

Electech has formed strong links to academics, the Universities, colleges and this creates a great platform to support Electech members bidding for new projects, accessing equipment and to enable innovation and growth.
